How to Use Fragrance Strips Correctly-

Apply the Scent: If using a spray bottle, spray the wider end of the strip from 4–6 inches away. If sampling raw materials or small vials, dip the narrow, pointed end into the liquid.

Wait a Moment: Do not smell it immediately. Wait about 10–15 seconds to let the harsh alcohol carrier evaporate.

The Sniff Technique: Hold the paper about 2–3 inches away from your nose and gently wave it. Avoid touching the wet paper directly to your nose to prevent oil transfer.

Log the Evolution: Write down the perfume name on the dry, wide end of the strip. Revisit the strip to track how the scent evolves into its base notes.
